My name is Erika, owner of ErikaSkye Photography! I am a wedding & lifestyle photographer based out of Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Lifestyle photography is my jam! I love the ‘in the moment’ feels with natural, genuine connections. Don’t get me wrong, we have to of course capture some posed shots, but the genuine & candid photos are always my fav!!

I love shooting outdoors in natural light and exploring different places, however I also have a beautiful studio in the Exchange District! I l capture Weddings, families, couples, maternity, lifestyle newborn, boudoir.

I’ve been known for my mini sessions! I host mini sessions a few times a year with simple props for occasions such as mothers day & fathers day and Christmas! When you have little ones… these are perfect because little ones can only last so long! (trust me, I know… I have 3 ….)

A little bit about me:

I married my amazing hubby Oct 2011. We have 3 beautiful babies! Well...not so little anymore.. but they’ll still be my babies even when they’re 80!

I work full time at the Grace Hospital as a Program Assistant for the Surgery Program (lovvvve it). Therefore Photography is my side business! I am self taught and love to attend workshops and courses to enhance my skills. Photography is not just about taking your photos…its also about your experience! I strive to build a connection with my clients and make them feel comfortable. I I want to know your story, your journey, and love it clients return for photos because of the fun experience and awesome photos of course!!

I am a coffee lover, craft beer drinking, plaid wearing kinda gal! Camping with our tent trailer and taking the kids on adventures are my favourite ways to spend summer! I love country music, a good board game and sitting around a bonfire with friends.
